– Lenten Schedule –
Adult Enrichment
Adoration and Rosary
This ministry provides the opportunity to pray “Christ-centered”, in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. While we pray the Rosary we appeal to the Mother of Jesus, for the needs of her children, the church and the world. In the words of St. Catherine Laboure, “Whenever I go to the chapel, I put myself in the presence of our good Lord, and I say to Him, ‘Lord, I am here. Tell me what you would have me do’.” Adoration is on Monday from 9:30AM – 12PM. Recitation of the luminous mysteries occurs the first Thursday morning at 9:30AM in the chapel. Interested persons needed.
Faith Enrichment
This group meets Sunday while Faith Formation and Education is in session sharing their faith and helping each other process thoughts and encouraging each other in their daily walks with God. Videos and written material help facilitate study of the Sunday readings and open ourselves to the sacred scriptures. The varied composition of this group reflects the different phases of life and the common thread as well. Group gathers in the Emmaus room at 9:45AM following the 8:15 mass.Lenten Series
Meets four Wednesday evenings during Lent. This event is a two-fold experience; it is an opportunity for members of the parish and their families and friends to gather for fellowship during the soup dinner and it is also a time of reflection and prayer which is in keeping with the Lenten spiritual journey through the guidance of invited speaker(s).
Prayer Network Ministry
This is a ministry of parishioners providing prayer for the intentions and needs of those requesting to be remembered. New requested intentions are passed on to others in the network to be added in their prayers. Prayer requests can be called in or emailed to the rectory.Mom’s in Touch
This prayer ministry of mothers meets once a week. Gathering in homes or in front of the statue of the Blessed Mother, they pray for the concerns of children in school.
Women’s Retreat
It’s hard to describe the peace that can be experienced by being in an environment without all the distractions of everyday life – TV’s, cell phones, traffic noise, etc. Being able to stop into a chapel at any hour of the day for quiet meditation in our Lord’s presence is a wonderful experience. We share thoughts, concerns, dreams, etc. with other women who may be experiencing the same situations and know that we understand and can comfort each other. New friendships are formed and old ones are reinforced. Usually takes place in November.Word & Communion
This celebration consists of prayer, daily scripture readings and communion weekdays at 6:45AM, Monday through Friday.
